Fallout 4 Download Pausing (Content File Locked) - posted in Fallout 4 Technical Support: Hi all, I am having an issue that I am completely unfamiliar with. The issue in question is when downloading Fallout 4, the download pauses. Installation Error: Content File Locked I've tried to go into my Fallout 4 folder and everything, but it won't let me in. It will let me all the way to the 2012 subfolder, and in the Data subfolder, but not in the Fallout 4 Subfolder. That doesn't work though, because even when I'm the administrator on my laptop, it requires that I go through and clean out any individual file Plus, there are some folders (like all of Content Redists) that I'm not allowed to go into. This is what i get for trying to start the game now. Everything has been perfect with it. All of my games until now have installed and run flawlessly. I started the download for Fallout 4 through steam. When it was almost done the download paused, with the status CONTENT FILE LOCKED (a popup showed a path to the file: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4_CommonRedist\2012\installscript.vdf)
